Why I Love LA...

Some photos from the past. My dorm had a mesmerizing, if not somewhat eerie night view of the Shrine Auditorium in the skyline that inspired many dreams. 

While back then the iconic venue might have drawn fans to see The Cure instead of Arcade Fire, the creative energy surrounding this part of downtown LA is stronger than ever.  

I was recently contacted by a USC undergrad…this time “University of South Carolina,” and fellow noir fanatic, who asked if I would bring some attention to his recent projects.  

In the coming weeks I will be introducing you to this ambitious, talented filmmaker and sharing some of his work.
