In 2017 President Muhammad Buhari was sick and had to travel out of Nigeria for treatment, when he came back, the leader of the outlawed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu alleged that President Buhari died abroad and the President everyone is seeing is not Buhari but an imposter who is "Jubril from Sudan".
Among the claims of Kanu is that the President is no longer bald.
Kanu said : "That thing in Aso Rock from Sudan is not bald, like the real Buhari. If you doubt me, ask that thing to remove his cap".
He further said : " I can only forgive the cabal that imported that thing if only they will return him back to Sudan".
However, the President may have proved the allegation wrong and put to rest the claims that he is an impostor by removing his cap recently to take passports during the launch of Nigeria's new e-passport that held in Abuja.
This revealed that the President is Obviously bald. Kanu had earlier said his only condition for him and other Igbos to vote during the 2019 election is if referendum could be organized.
He also alleged that some governors in the Southeast of Nigeria are working for President Buhari.
IPOB is a separalist organization led by Nnamdi Kanu. The group wants some Igbo dominated states in Nigeria to separate from the country and form independent nation of Biafra and this is why the group is calling for referendum.
